At the Zoo

Mommy has been reading this German book about a visit at the zoo to me. So I finally convinced mommy and daddy to take me to this zoo place.

I had a lot of fun. Nothing like sleeping while being pushed through the zoo.

Here are some pics:

Luka’s new sleeping schedule

Luka has been pretty good about sleeping at night for a while. We used to put him down at about 9 pm and he would sleep till about 3 am. At which time he got a bottle and a fresh diaper and went back to sleep till 6 am.

A few weeks ago we switch it up, since poor Joe had been staying up till 3 am to feed him. Thanks to our doctor we started putting Luka down to sleep at about 9 pm and then waking him about around 11 pm to feed and diaper him one more time. He was still able to sleep all the way till 6 am after that.

Yesterday we tried something new. We fed him at 8:30 pm with a big bottle, which took him 30 min to finish. Then we put him down to sleep and “yeah” he actually slept all the way till 6:30 am! This was the first night that he actually slept all night long!

Now, we also need to mention that he has been sleeping a lot during the day too. He only wakes up for food, a fresh diaper and a few minutes of entertainment and then he’s ready for another nap. But we noticed he is growing so that must be why he’s sleeping a lot. I guess we should enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts.

Happy Easter! – Frohe Ostern!

We had  a great Easter and the easter bunny brought a lot of things for Luka – thank you!

4-month Dr Appointment

Luka is turning 4 month on next Thursday, so it was time for his regular doctor appointment.

Here are his latest “states”:

Weight: 14.6 lbs (6622 gram)

Height: 25.2 in (64  cm)

He also got another set of shots and did really well.

The doctor said that he is a very healthy little boy and that he is going to be able to start eating rice cereal within the next two month.

Here are also some pictures we took over the last few weeks. Enjoy!
